Plot

The Verma family includes mother Mrs. Verma and her children, Anil and Vinnie. Anil dreams of marrying Shobha, while Vinnie is in love with Rakesh, who both work for the wealthy industrialist JK. Anil leaves for a year abroad to improve his career, promising to keep in touch with Shobha. Upon his return, he discovers that Vinnie and Rakesh have wed, and Shobha is now married to JK. Heartbroken, Anil marries Sona, yet remains haunted by his feelings for Shobha. Sona, feeling neglected, follows him and finds him in an affair with Shobha.
