Plot
Set in the mid-1980s, the threat of nuclear war hangs heavily over a small Kansas town, where life goes on as usual. Dr. Russell Oakes juggles his responsibilities at the hospital, Denise Dahlberg excitedly plans her wedding, and Stephen Klein immerses himself in graduate studies. However, their lives are irrevocably changed when catastrophe strikes and nuclear bombs are unleashed. The community must now confront the chilling realities of nuclear winter, as they navigate the aftermath of destruction and despair.
