Amateurs (2020)

Plot

Krzysiek Biuro Rzeczy Osobistych Theater, composed of intellectually disabled actors, triumphs at a festival, earning a coveted opportunity to perform in a professional venue. Excitedly, Krzysiek and his troupe dive into rehearsals for their new play, "Zorba." However, challenges arise when the theater's director offers support with strings attached. As rehearsals progress, the involvement of several seasoned actors complicates matters: aging star Bartoszek, once-glamorous Olbińska, and the theater's new acquisition, Wiktoria. Tensions mount as the amateurs navigate their ambitions alongside the demands of established professionals.
