Plot
Set against the backdrop of the 1860s, Giorgio, a young Italian soldier, finds himself stationed at a remote outpost, far from his beloved Clara. He takes up residence in the home of Colonel, forming friendships with both the Colonel and a local doctor. Among the household's peculiar residents is Fosca, a troubled young woman whose unconventional appearance and mental instability pose a challenge for Giorgio. As Fosca's intense obsession with him grows, Giorgio must navigate the complexities of desire, loyalty, and sacrifice amidst the isolation of military life.
