Plot

A group of bumbling Martians misinterprets a radio airing of Orson Welles' "War of the Worlds" as an actual invasion of Earth. Convinced they must intervene, they crash their malfunctioning spacecraft in a small American town. Coincidentally, their arrival aligns with Halloween, leading the locals to mistake them for costumed children.
