Plot
In "Death in Venice," composer Gustav von Aschenbach visits Venice to recuperate. While in the city, he finds himself captivated by the exquisite charm of a young Polish boy named Tadzio, who is vacationing with his family at the same Grand Hôtel des Bains. As Aschenbach's fascination deepens, he grapples with his emotions and desires against the backdrop of the city's beauty and decay, leading him into a tumultuous internal struggle.
