Plot

Pablo faces a crucial decision: quit smoking, as urged by his wife, family, and doctor. A stubborn septuagenarian, he’s spent decades working in the perilous mercury mines of Almadén, Spain, enduring multiple heart attacks while clinging to a pack of cigarettes he’s smoked since childhood. Now, he leads a reclusive life, isolated from a once-thriving village, engulfed in smoke and memories.
