Plot

During the War of 1812, Captain James Marshall embarks on a mission to breach the British blockade and secure an unofficial loan from France. He enlists Ben Waldridge, a disgraced ex-Navy captain, as his first mate. Waldridge brings along his old gun crew, who quickly hatch a plan for mutiny upon discovering the ship's treasure. The situation intensifies when Leslie, Waldridge's former love and a gold enthusiast, boards the ship with the treasure. Loyalties are tested as Waldridge’s true intentions remain shrouded in mystery.
