Plot

S. Quentin Quale, a slick embezzler, sets out for the West in search of wealth. At a train station, he encounters the simple-minded yet cunning Panello brothers, Joseph and Rusty, who swiftly steal his cash. They share a common goal: to strike gold. In their travels, they meet Dan Wilson, an old miner whose barren land, Dead Man's Gulch, holds untapped potential. After loaning Dan their last ten dollars, they receive the property deed as collateral. However, the scheming saloon owner, Red Baxter, swindles them, prompting Quale and the brothers to band together to reclaim their fortunes.
