Profeti (2023)

Plot

"Profeti" explores the intense dynamic between Sara, an independent Italian journalist kidnapped by ISIS in Syria during her 2015 war coverage, and Nur, a young foreign fighter married to a Caliphate soldier. Holding Sara captive in a training camp, Nur is determined to convert her to Islamic extremism, driven by both her personal convictions and the directives from the camp's leader. As the two women confront each other, their clash becomes a gripping examination of faith, ideology, and the struggle for survival amidst the horrors of war.
