Plot

Doctor Bamford is eager to escape the prying eyes of his Cornish neighbors and finds solace in the derelict Tregunnt Farm, isolated from village life. However, the Bowden family from London has their sights set on the property, planning to transform the area into unattractive holiday cottages. After being outbid, Bamford concocts a plan to frighten the Bowdens away by impersonating the legendary Beast of Bodmin. As he dons this eerie persona, chaos ensues, leading to unexpected revelations about community, ambition, and the true essence of home.
