Plot

Lucius, a renowned bathhouse architect in ancient Rome, faces challenges as he embarks on a new project to create a thermae in the Colosseum for gladiators' recovery. Seeking inspiration, he travels back to modern Japan, where he reunites with Manami, a magazine reporter focused on bathrooms. With the innovative ideas from the flat-faced Japanese tribe, Lucius constructs a new bathhouse design. Meanwhile, tensions rise in Rome as Emperor Hadrian strives for peace, clashing with the Senate, which pushes for territorial expansion through force, leading to a divided city.
