Plot

Jerry, Connie, and Franky, three small-town friends, venture to New York City in search of affluent husbands. While Connie and Franky indulge in reckless romances—one with a married man and the other marrying a rogue—Jerry stands firm in her sensible approach to love. As she supports her heartbroken friends through their misadventures, she stubbornly rebuffs the affections of Tony Jardine, a kind-hearted and wealthy suitor.
