Plot

Morgan Leafy serves as the secretary to Arthur Fanshawe, the aloof British High Commissioner in a fictional African nation. While Leafy adeptly navigates the political landscape, he finds himself entangled in Fanshawe's dubious schemes to secure a business deal with a powerful local leader. Amidst this, Leafy is captivated by the stunning Hazel, with whom he is romantically involved. Complications arise when presidential hopeful Sam Adekunle seeks Leafy’s assistance in persuading a respected doctor to back a lucrative plan, creating a web of intrigue and conflicting interests in a rapidly changing political environment.
