Plot
Nine-year-old orphan Oliver Twist finds himself in dire straits after requesting more gruel from the heartless Mr. Bumble, leading to an apprenticeship he desperately wants to escape. He soon encounters the clever street thief, the Artful Dodger, and his unscrupulous guardian, Fagin. After a stroke of luck, Oliver is taken in by the compassionate Mr. Brownlow, but danger lurks. Fagin's ruthless enforcer, Bill Sikes, plots to abduct Oliver, forcing the young boy to navigate a treacherous world of crime and survival in search of safety and belonging.
