Plot

Julie, who resides a cozy life in Salon-de-Provence, has been struggling with feelings of sadness. In an effort to lift her spirits, her husband, Philippe Abrams, a post office worker, desperately seeks a transfer to a picturesque coastal town on the French Riviera. However, his plans take a turn for the worse when he is caught attempting to deceive an inspector. As a consequence, Philippe is unexpectedly assigned to the remote and unfamiliar town of Bergues in Northern France, far from the sunny paradise he envisioned.
