Plot
After receiving news of their impending return home, a squad of soldiers from Spokane faces a devastating ambush in an Iraqi city. The narrative shifts to four of these veterans grappling with their trauma back in the U.S. One is a surgeon haunted by the horrors he witnessed, while a single mother and teacher struggles with the loss of her hand in the attack. An infantryman copes with the death of his best friend, and another soldier is tormented by memories of a civilian woman he was forced to kill. Each must navigate the deep scars left by their experiences.
