Plot
Jerry Blake, the deranged stepfather, breaks free from a mental institution and starts anew in a different town. Assuming the identity of a marriage counselor, he quickly ingratiates himself with a prospective wife and her son, who are oblivious to his dark past. Fueled by his obsession with creating the ideal family, Blake resorts to deadly measures to eliminate anyone threatening his domestic dream.
