Plot
In 1965, devoted musician Glenn Holland accepts a position as a high school music educator, believing it's merely a temporary detour on his journey to compose a monumental piece of music. As years pass and his grand opus remains incomplete, Holland finds himself shaping the lives of countless students through his passion for teaching. Ultimately, he must come to terms with his evolving role and the new meaning he discovers in his life’s work.
