The Return of Ironside (1993)

Plot

After dedicating forty years to the San Francisco police force, Robert T. Ironside is ready to embrace a well-deserved retirement with his wife, Katherine, at their newly acquired vineyard. However, shortly after his departure, officials from the Denver police reach out, seeking his temporary leadership following the assassination of the previous chief. Though hesitant at first, Ironside ultimately agrees to take on the role with Katherine's support, excited by the opportunity to reconnect with Susan, the daughter of one of his former colleagues.
