Plot

Five one-star generals find themselves imprisoned in Italy during WWII, creating a public relations disaster for the Allies. Unable to cooperate, they struggle to devise an escape plan. Enter Harry Frigg, a crafty private notorious for his repeated escapes. When he is unexpectedly promoted to Major General while also being captured, he is tasked with the impossible mission of liberating the generals.
