Primitives (1978)

Plot

Tommy, Rita, and Robert, along with their guides, embark on an expedition into the heart of the jungle to explore isolated tribes untouched by modern society. Despite their initial encounters, the trio feels the tribes lack the authenticity they seek. Eager for a more visceral experience, they set out on a quest to discover the fabled cannibal tribe rumored to inhabit the region. Their journey leads them deeper into the wilderness, challenging their perceptions of civilization and savagery while confronting the stark realities of the world they are determined to study.
