Plot

Furuta Oribe finds himself thrust into the role of tea master under Toyotomi Hideyoshi, following the tragic demise of his mentor, Sen no Rikyū, who was ordered to take his own life. The shocking act of casting Rikyū's severed head into the Nijo River ignites a fierce anger in Princess Goh, Hideyoshi’s adopted daughter. Determined to honor her late mentor, she enlists Usu, Oribe's loyal servant, to recover the head and ensure it reaches Rikyū’s adopted daughter, setting off a chain of events steeped in honor and defiance.
