Plot

As the 2007 U.S. troop surge looms, two Army recruiters grapple with immense pressure as their own deployments hang in the balance. Sgt. Harris (Lew Temple), entrenched in the recruiting office, feels a sense of belonging there. Meanwhile, Sgt. Mason (Clayne Crawford) has survived a devastating roadside bomb in combat and is reassigned to the same office. Eager to return to the frontlines, he discovers that the challenges of war extend beyond the battlefield, testing their resolve and forcing them to confront the realities of military life and recruitment.
