Plot

Amidst the buzz of Y2K, 12-year-old Beverly, an orphan, stumbles upon a damaged mixtape made by her teenage parents. Living with her grandmother, who finds it difficult to discuss her late daughter, Beverly views the mixtape as a vital connection to her family's past. Determined to uncover the stories and memories behind the music, she embarks on a heartfelt journey that reveals the essence of her parents and her own identity. Through each song, Beverly seeks to bridge the gap between her present and the unknown legacy of her family.
