Plot
In Orton Creek, a tragic fraternity initiation leads to the accidental death of David Farmer at the hands of Don Curran, the son of local bully Will Curran. To cover their tracks, the fraternity blames Frank Govers, an unsuspecting electronics salesman. However, Sheriff Ralph Baker and his romantic interest, Jo Westlake, are determined to uncover the truth. As Govers and his girlfriend, Lee Ann Hadley, hide in a remote cabin, they are captured by escaped convicts Mick August and Merlin Wells, the latter meeting a shocking fate at Govers' hands. With a bounty in play, Sheriff Baker closes in on the culprits.
