Chaco (2020)

Plot

Set against the backdrop of the 1934 Bolivia-Paraguay War, Liborio, Ticona, and fellow indigenous soldiers find themselves lost in the harsh Chaco region, under the command of the German Captain Kundt. As they venture deeper into the desolate landscape, the elusive Paraguayan enemy remains a ghostly presence, ultimately revealing the grim fate of their unit. This harrowing journey transforms them, forcing them to confront their dismal reality as shadows drifting through a barren expanse, trapped in a cycle of dust and silence, with no end in sight.
