Plot

As December 1598 marks the seventh year of the Imjin War, Admiral Yi Sun-shin discovers that the Wa forces in Joseon are planning to retreat, following the final commands of their leader, Toyotomi Hideyoshi. With a fierce resolve to end the conflict, Admiral Yi rallies a combined fleet of Joseon and Ming ships to establish a blockade and obliterate the Wa army. However, the situation escalates when Ming commander Chen Lin is bribed to lift the blockade, allowing Wa lord Shimazu Yoshihiro and his Satsuma forces to launch a counterattack at Noryang Strait.
