Plot

Martial Perrin, the leader of a right-wing political party, is preparing for an upcoming election when he discovers that a dangerous criminal named Kraus has broken out of prison. In a state of fear, Perrin decides to go into hiding. His deputy, Constant, enlists the help of Perrin’s cousin, Gilbert, an actor who remarkably resembles him, to take his place. Unbeknownst to Gilbert, Kraus is on a killing spree, targeting those involved in the crime that led to his imprisonment—and Perrin is next in line to be eliminated.
