George (1972)

Plot

When a St. Bernard named George is handed over to a relative by his owner, chaos ensues in the nearby town and for his new owner. After causing enough trouble while trying to impress a girl, the frustrated owner decides to send George to a remote monastery in the snowy mountains until his original owner returns. However, George manages to escape during the night, finding himself lost in the icy wilderness. To win the girl and rescue George, the new owner must come to understand the true value of their bond and the importance of saving his loyal companion.
