Plot
In 1969 Turin, nine-year-old Massimo's peaceful life is upended by the sudden death of his mother, leaving him in denial despite reassurances from a priest. Fast forward to the 1990s, and Massimo has established himself as a successful journalist. However, his coverage of the Sarajevo war triggers debilitating panic attacks. As he faces the emotional task of selling his parents' apartment, he must confront his buried traumas. Compassionate doctor Elisa enters his life, offering support and encouraging him to address his childhood pain, paving the way for healing and understanding.
