Plot

George Lester is on a quest for wealth but finds his dreams unraveling when his wife, Pamela, grows weary of their chaotic lifestyle and leaves him. In her absence, he transforms her family home into a disco, only for her to return and threaten him with jail for fraud due to lack of approval. Desperate for money, George turns to his old friend William Homer, who is short on cash. When George attempts to steal plans for a drill from Pamela’s new boyfriend, Dudley Heath, a bout of mumps complicates matters, leaving him in a financial bind.
