Plot

Martin Durnley, a troubled young man, grapples with a stifling mother, an unloving stepfather, and a brother in an institution due to Down's syndrome. To escape his harsh reality, he creates an alternate persona named Georgie. Following a failed shoplifting attempt, he forms a bond with a compassionate female customer. However, this seemingly innocent friendship quickly spirals into a dangerous obsession, revealing the dark depths of Martin's psyche and the lengths he will go to seek love and acceptance.
