Plot
A young girl becomes a pawn in a bet by her father, landing her with the miserly Sorrowful Jones. As her father's absence stretches on, Sorrowful grapples with the challenges of caring for a child, which disrupts his carefree existence. To make matters worse, he finds himself dodging unscrupulous gangsters while resorting to some less-than-honest horse dealings. As Sorrowful navigates this unexpected responsibility, he discovers that life may be richer when you embrace connections over cash.
