She began her journey in the 1930s as a model and Broadway performer, adopting the stage name Dianne Belmont, before transitioning to small film roles as a contract player with RKO Pictures, earning the moniker "Queen of the Bs" for her numerous parts in B-movies.

Ball's most significant contribution came in 1951 with the launch of *I Love Lucy*, which featured her husband Desi Arnaz as Ricky Ricardo and became a cultural phenomenon, airing 180 episodes until 1957. She continued to thrive on television with *The Lucy Show* (1962-1968) and *Here's Lucy* (1968-1974), solidifying her status as a television pioneer.

Over her illustrious career, Ball received 13 Emmy nominations, winning four, and was honored with the Women in Film Crystal Award in 1977, the Golden Globe Cecil B.
