Plot
Arthur Ferguson Jones lives a mundane existence, punctuated by punctuality and predictability. His life takes a dramatic turn when he oversleeps and is promptly dismissed from his job. Mistaken for notorious criminal Mannion due to their uncanny resemblance, Arthur finds himself arrested. The police, recognizing the mix-up, grant him a special pass for protection. However, the real Mannion seizes this chance to exploit the situation, leading to a series of comical and chaotic events as both men navigate a tangled web of mistaken identity and criminal antics.
