Plot

Lou and Nick are enjoying lavish lives thanks to their past escapades with the Hot Tub Time Machine, but Jacob still struggles with Lou's role as a mentor. Chaos ensues when an intruder attacks Lou, leaving him injured. Desperate to save their friend, Nick and Jacob plunge back into the time-traveling hot tub. Their journey lands them in 2025, where they must navigate a future filled with unfamiliar challenges while uncovering the identity of Lou's assailant to thwart the crime before it can happen again.
