The Topeka Terror (1945)

Plot

The Cherokee Strip land rush of 1945 draws a wave of outlaws and claim jumpers, including the duplicitous promoter Trent Parker and his gang. They orchestrate a grand scheme to cheat honest settlers by falsifying land claims. Clay Stevens, a government agent disguised as a wandering cowhand, steps in to rally the settlers against the impending swindle. As tensions rise, the gang's leader, Ben Jode, seeks to become sheriff, aiming to tighten his grip on the town. The stakes escalate in this classic western filled with deception and determination.
