Plot

Madea stumbles upon teenage Jennifer and her younger brothers raiding her house, prompting her to take action. She brings the troubled trio to their only living relative, their aunt April. A hard-drinking nightclub singer entangled with a married man, April is initially uninterested in assuming responsibility for the kids. As she grapples with her own issues, the unexpected arrival of her nieces and nephew forces her to confront her priorities and ultimately rethink her lifestyle.
