Plot

Joan Boothe travels to Las Vegas with her reporter husband, David, who is there to cover a story. To occupy herself, she starts gambling and quickly falls under the spell of the casino life, fueled by the encouragement of the casino manager. As her obsession deepens, she resorts to "borrowing" David's expense funds, which ultimately strains their marriage to the breaking point.
