Donald T. Beddoe (July 1, 1903 – January 19, 1991) was a distinguished American character actor known for his versatility and charm. Hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was raised in a musically inclined family, his father being a Welsh classical singer. Beddoe pursued higher education at the University of Cincinnati, earning both bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and spent three years teaching English before venturing into acting.

His career began on stage and in minor film roles, but it wasn't until the late 1930s that Beddoe gained recognition for playing fast-talking reporters and similar characters.
