Plot

When debutante Phoebe Ann Naylor’s wedding to Don Andrea de Baldasar is interrupted by a cavalry dispute over honor, Don Andrea escapes to Texas. There, he allies with Sam Hollis and his Indian companion, Kronk, who are on a mission to deliver rifles to Moccasin Flats. Amidst the chaos, Don Andrea rescues a Native American woman named Lonetta, wrangles longhorns, and finds himself vying for Phoebe’s love against Sam. Navigating threats from a Comanche war party and the cavalry, he emerges as a hero, ultimately saving the town and winning Phoebe’s heart.
