Plot

Jeanne, a captivating yet directionless young woman, struggles to find her place in the world. Her mother pushes her to secure a job with Bleistein, a former lover, but the interview ends in failure. Soon after, Jeanne becomes involved with Franck, a wrestler whose ambitions charm her. When Franck is arrested, he betrays her trust, exposing her naivety. Stung by the betrayal, Jeanne concocts a fabricated tale of an assault on a train to gain sympathy and attention. As her web of lies unravels, she must confront the consequences and seek a way out of her predicament.
