Plot

Explorer Bruce Wayne returns to Gotham after a twenty-year absence, only to inadvertently awaken a malevolent ancient force. As Batman, he confronts a series of nightmarish Lovecraftian entities that threaten the city. Along the way, he forges alliances and faces off against a rogues’ gallery, including Green Arrow, Ra's al Ghul, Mr. Freeze, Killer Croc, Two-Face, and James Gordon. The struggle between good and evil intensifies as Bruce grapples with the dark legacy he unleashed, putting both his city and himself at risk.
