Plot
Carl Panzram finds himself imprisoned at Leavenworth for burglary, where a guard's brutal assault leaves him scarred. Amidst the harsh environment, rookie guard Henry Lesser takes pity on Panzram and forges a bond, encouraging him to pen his life story. As Lesser delves into Panzram's turbulent past, he uncovers a chilling legacy of violence. However, he also sees glimpses of a more redeemable side in Panzram, challenging the bleak perceptions held by the other prison staff.
