Jeffrey DeMunn
Jeffrey DeMunn, born on April 25, 1947, is a renowned American actor celebrated for his work in theatre, film, and television. He has garnered particular acclaim as a trusted collaborator of director Frank Darabont, appearing in all four of Darabont's films: The Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption, The Majestic, and The Mist. Additionally, DeMunn featured in the 1988 remake of The Blob, a film co-written by Darabont.
With a rich television career, DeMunn has made memorable appearances in iconic series such as Kojak, Law & Order, and its spin-offs, Special Victims Unit and Trial by Jury. He holds the distinction of being the actor most frequently associated with adaptations of Stephen King’s works, having portrayed characters in film adaptations of Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, The Mist, and the miniseries Storm of the Century.
