Plot

Jacques, the grumpy proprietor of a rundown bar in New York, finds himself surrounded by a diverse crowd of regular drinkers. As he spirals deeper into a self-destructive lifestyle of heavy drinking and smoking, he encounters Lucas, a disheartened homeless youth who has lost all hope. Recognizing a chance to leave a lasting impact, Jacques decides to mentor Lucas, seeing him as the perfect successor to carry on his legacy. Thus begins an unlikely bond that could change both their lives.
