Plot
Josepha, an almost eighteen-year-old, finds herself living with her disheartened, alcoholic uncle, a once-prominent actor. Yearning for acceptance from a group of thrill-seeking friends who skirt the law, she concocts a false story implicating local druggist Savary as a sex murderer to gain their approval. Unbeknownst to her, this dangerous lie could have severe repercussions. As the police investigate, the line between her desperate need for belonging and the grim realities of her actions blurs, leading to unexpected consequences that threaten her future and safety.
