Plot

Genoese explorer Christopher Columbus envisions a daring westward route to the Indies, defying conventional wisdom. After facing rejection from the Portuguese crown, he turns to Spain, seeking the support of Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand. Despite a tense encounter with the formidable Tomas de Torquemada, he secures sponsorship and embarks on an ambitious voyage with three ships.
