Plot

Jane Falbury's peaceful New England farm becomes the temporary home for a group of actors invited by her sister to produce a show. Initially hesitant, Jane agrees to let them stay in exchange for their help with farm work. As the rehearsals unfold, her initial reservations give way to unexpected feelings for Joe, the charismatic director and her sister's fiancé.
